Few days ago I've been into some C coding and again got impressed by how greatly linux is organised! Dependencies are written the clear way. The "./configure" script is a standard. The "Makefile" is a standard. and so on... they aren't strictly linux-related but I mostly work in Linux environment... I actually refer to UNIX standards I guess. It is so simple to create and redistribute own application using standard utils, making it easily-installable! I love this!
Anyway,...
I was watching "The great dictator" again tonight.
No need to say it's simply a MASTERPIECE.
Once more it's a beautifully placed sudo wall.
If you never watched this movie, I strongly suggest you to see it. Especially for the speech in the final part. As well as I suggest you to see other movies by Charles Chaplin. They are all full of such a simple thing we are losing now. A thing that can be a way to new, better life on Earth.
Most of us wondering "what is Life? How to deal with it?" I will try to give you an answer on this topic.
I came back to these thoughs yesterday, when I was looking through Durian Open Movie project, a movie that is going to be done with Blender opensource rendering software....

I picked up the thread of these thoughts again today, while was watching at a progress of Durian Open Movie project.
Yesterday, 31 jan their team released a preview of one of a fight scenes should probably be in the final movie.
"LOL that is how it's going to be?" was my thought when I saw it. FEW other people on the comments page noticed the same thing I did there: excessive violence of a picture, which was meant to be much milder. I was disappointed by that. I know...
