Having read this I sent this comment to the Commisioner's Office of the New South Wales police.
OK, his advice isn't perfect but it's a hell of a start in the right direction!

sure windows is not that secure,

With a firewall and antivirus windows is fine
and saying not to do something with an OS that has 80%

Both 3rd party add ons or MS's own just about adequate offerings. Iptables (Built in, not bolt on!) set up with Guarddog or similar and no A/V required has got to be a better solution!Quote:Originally Posted by smeezekitty
