My N900. (Bricked!)

Posted 09-07-2011 at 07:54 AM by rich_c

Oops! I was messing with my N900, installing the power kernel and doing a spot of light overclocking. This had the effect of breaking the fcam camera drivers. I tried to fix that by installing the latest drivers from the development repositories. This pulled in the very latest power kernel which seems to have resulted in a reboot loop situation. :-( I'm hoping that a kernel only reflash will put it all back to normal...

I haven't managed to **** mine up yet, maybe because I haven't actually done much with it.

Fixed! Reflashed just the kernel then re-installed the power kernel after removing BlessN900. I've now got an N900 that'll do 800mhz and the camera works. :-D
