FC5 - Failure: repodata/repomd.xml from anaconda: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

WINDOWS USERS SOLUTION:
Check the sha1sum of the iso files.

-find and download sha1sum (google search)
-drop the sha1sum.exe in the same directory as the iso files
-open start-run-cmd and navigate to the folder with the iso's and sha1sum.exe
-type in the command prompt
Code:
sha1sum.exe FC-5-i386-disc1.iso FC-5-i386-disc2.iso FC-5-i386-disc3.iso FC-5-i386-disc4.iso FC-5-i386-disc5.iso
-check the results against the following
Code:
cdeb3303f8c8a1fc521cd08948d727560eba488d

How to set Redhat Enterprise Server 4 as Router/Proxy

I am new leaner in linux. I have installed redhat enterprise server 4, and I want to configure it as Router and Proxy server. I have Broadband Internet Line.

Please give me detail related to this.

This is the first entry in my new Linux Log. I am not going to say anything else exept that the scope of this blog is to act as notpad - information collector and history of my Linux activities. At the moment I have 1 Linux PC.

PC:
Duron 800 on ECS K7S5A
256 MB RAM
~140 GB Storage space distributed on 3HD's (and many partitions)
NVIDIA MX2, 64MB RAM
NEC DVD-RAM, Teac CDRW

OS installed:

Windows XPSP2 --->practically...

device driver problems

2. uart1.c


I am able to load the module into the kernel and device is getting registered by allocating the major no for the device.
Then, i have created the device file using mknod(Resultant major no). I have wriiten an application program which uses this
device driver functions like open, write, ioctl. When i run the application program, it is saying that
