Font Problems


As you can see from the attachment below, there are little boxes where there should be fonts and or symbols. How can I fix this?

Maybe remove and than re-install the fonts.

The screenshot you posted looks like the API is missing plugins or is somehow misconfigured. Either way it's most likely why you don't have the fonts or symbols showing.

What DE are you running?

What's this "DE" you're talking about?

Ok, look in your Settings under fonts and see if it can be changed and or make another selection that way.

Are the fonts that you are trying to get to work associated with your browser <or> is this the fonts for your system?

Did this stop working after an update?

either missing fonts /like ttf-symbola noto-fonts/ or broken fontconfig configuration
the fc- commands may help, you can also have a look at infinality fontconfigs
