Font problems...

I am having some issues installing my windoz fonts in Mandrake 9.1. I have gone through the whole Mandrake Controll Center -> System -> DrakFont -> Get Windows Fonts thing and when that is done... the wondows fonts are nowhere to be found.

Do I need to add a path or something to a file somewhere?

Does anyone have an idea of what I could do?

hmm...well you could update your locate database(updatedb) and then try to locate one of the font files. Say the font file is called windowsfont.ttf then you could do:

locate windowsfont.ttf

to find the location of it.

Thank-you I will try that...

Also what if I find thees fonts in my Linux partition(s) but they are still not accessable in any of my file editors... how can I add them to that list?
