Question Mouse of set

I am new to FreeBSD. I know a little about Linux and Unix. But any way I am having problems when i start up x11 with KDE everything starts up just fine but the mouse was giving me crap at first. It would when you first moved it. it would stick in the middle at the very top of the screen. well i managed to fix that. then now the mouse is like off. it will only let you move in a quarter of the screen. but in this corner it acts like the whole screen. like if i move the mouse all the way to the bottom left corner of the fake box and click it opens the menu. any ideas on how to fix this.

Post your /etc/X11/XF86Config and tell us what kind of mouse you have. We need to know the type of head your mouse has...

Here is just the mouse section if you need the rest i can get that up

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "SysMouse"
Option "Device" "/dev/sysmouse"
EndSection

I have tryed "Protocol" "auto" and "Protocol" "PS/2"
The "PS/2" just messed it up more

The mouse is a Wise Tech Optical PS/2 mouse

Please post your /etc/rc.conf and try a 'X -configure'. You can also give 'psm0' a try instead of auto.
