Micro optical mouse set up(MDK9.1)how?

I had been using Logitec 3 button mouse with MDK9.1 with no problem.
But with Micro optical 3 button just by choosing 3button generic wheel mouse is a problem.
How ? and may be some documents are in web sites?

Plug the mouse in while the pc is off. Then boot, and get to the login screen. Does the mouse work? If not, use the keyboard to log in, then open a terminal and su to root. Then type mousedrake and select each type of mouse in turn. After each selection, log out, then Alt-E to restart the x-server. If the mouse doen't work, repeat until it does work, or if it never works, try somebody else's suggestions

The mouse needs more configuration

My mouse (micro optical),which came with windows driver, works well with windows98.
But just by using mouse drake does not give me nomal oparation,I mean if I move the mouse very slowly cursor does not move.
I used to use whell mouse(not optical) ,with no ploblem.

Try going into Configuration - KDE - Peripherals - Mouse - Advanced. There you can change how sensitive it is to motion, and a few other settings, too. Hopefully you'll get it working as you want.
