Ok, i want to install freebsd 5.0 on my dell as a dual boot machine. Ok i go to the standard install then fdisk and creat the freebsd and swap partition. After that then i go to the disklabel editor and here is what it says
ad0s1 <none> 31MB Dos
ad0s3a / 256MB Ufs1 Y
ad0s3b swap 1002 SWAP
ad0s3d /var 256MB UFS1+S Y
ad0s3e /tmp 256MB UFS1+S Y
ad0s3f /usr 6222MB UFS1+S Y

After that i hit Q and that finishes, then i get a error "Unable to find device node for /dev/ad0s3b in /dev! The creation of filesystems will be aborted." I hit ok then i get another error "Couldnt make filesystems properly. Aborting." then i hit ok and the install exits. So my question is what do i do to get rid of those errors for it to install correctly?

Delete all the slice, and hit the bottom, then it will auto configure it, by itself =)
