Finding repositories for Kubuntu Edgy 64-bit

I seem to be incapable of finding repositories for Edgy Eft.

My Mum's computer has stopped being able to install software through adept or apt-get. It's an Intel 64-bit processor running Kubuntu Edgy Eft 64-bit. The problem seems to be that the sources we used to use have disappeared and I don't know how to add others. Just in case this isn't the problem, here's some more information:

This is the /etc/apt/sources.list file:
Code:
## Major bug fix updates produced after the final release of the
## distribution.
deb http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy-updates main restricted
deb-src http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy-updates main restricted

deb http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy main restricted
deb-src http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy main restricted
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-security main restricted
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-security main restricted
But when I try and update the package lists, the output says this:
Code:
root@gill-desktop:/etc/apt# apt-get update

Reading package lists... Done
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
If I go to http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/ there doesn't appear to be anything for Edgy. I don't know if they've stopped supporting it or something.

Anyway, how do I find repositories (preferably from the uk and 64-bit) for Edgy? Hopefully if I get some Edgy repositories then we can update to a newer version of Kubuntu and solve the problem more long-term.

Thanks in advance.

I think it's no longer supported.
Times move on.
6.06 LTS (Long Term Support) is good for another year I think.
8.04 LTS Desktop Edition will be supported until 2011

Maybe it's time to save your personal data files and then install 8.04. Do not "upgrade" - the net is full of tales of woe from people who have tried this path and failed miserably.

Ok, thanks.

I think we'll wait a while before attempting that. I don't have much summer vacation left .
