Dapper and improved wireless capability

I've recently upgraded to Dapper (the newest beta available), and was somewhat dissapointed with the wireless capabilities. My wireless card was supported, but upon enter the system->administration->networking dialogue, i found the wireless networking support to still be sub-par. It seems that it only supports WEP. Was it just me or wasn't this version of Ubuntu (along with the new version of GNOME that ships with it) supposed to have better wireless support and integration? If anyone could clear this up for me, please do.

thanks,

You need to remember that Dapper is just a beta release and there are still going to be problems with the OS. I have been having problems with the Nvidia drivers considering not being able to change the refresh rate to 70.

Give them time which is another month better Dapper is no longer beta.
