i can run it from terminal with sudo -s than synaptic to run package manager but i would much ratehr have everything that suposed to work work. heres what i get through terminal
Code:
boxerboy@boxer:~$ sudo -s
root@boxer:~# synaptic

(synaptic:12946): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accel_label_set_accel_closure: assertion `gtk_accel_group_from_accel_closure (accel_closure) != NULL' failed

(synaptic:12946): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accel_label_set_accel_closure: assertion `gtk_accel_group_from_accel_closure (accel_closure) != NULL' failed
and i noticed doing it that way the terminal has to stay open and im not real fond of that idea either but if anyone has a clue what i need to do please let me know thank you
