If you want to recover your Acer Aspire One netbook to its default state, Acer uploaded a disc image on its FTP server from the default Linpus Linux installation. Acer also published several source codes on its FTP Server.

Linpus Lite Recovery download
Went to the recommended site and hit the download here. Page loads as no longer available. Have you any more recommendations.

Try here: http://ftp.twaren.net/Linux/Linpus/ The LinpusLite.iso should do the trick though I haven't tried it. I donwloaded all 3 isos the other day, and got between 300Kb/sec & 500Kb/sec.
