I've recently upgraded suse 9.1 personal to 9.2 pro using 9.2 dvd.
The problem is that yast online update receives updates for 9.1, which are all lower version than the installed packages so I can't update suse.
How can I fix that?

SuSE keeps the release number in /etc/SuSE-release. Maybe that is where YaST is getting the old version number, maybe not.
How did you run this update? If YaST still uses the old version number, you may have updated only part of the system. What kernel version are you using (uname -r)?
Probably yast doesn't look in there.
I have upgraded everything. I checked many of the packages manually to resolve dependencies. My kernel is 2.6.8-24-smp
No, you can't select version, halo14.
That's right abisko00. It seems to be /var/adm/YaST/ProdDB/prod_00000001.
I edited the file and changed every 9.1 to 9.2 but now yast says unknown version in the system information box. I tried to move the file to another dir hoping that yast will regenerate it but nope. It doesn't work. Is it possible to regenerate the file in another way?
I checked the packages. These had not been upgraded and I upgraded them.
