suse 10.2 is not playing mp3 and cant install rpm :( how bad

ladies and gentelman this silly is using suse 10.2 and dont know even how to install rpm package. and i can not play mpg or mp3 or etc. etc.
i know you are looking at me as a creature but i didnt understand how it works!! CAN I TRUST UUUU?(İN THE PAST I WAS USING PARDUS 1.1A IT WASNT MAKING A LOT OF TROUBLES ON ME? WHY?)

SUSE 10.2 is just a beta version, so you can't expect everything to work properly. I recommend you install 10.1, which has been quite improved since its initial release. This is much easier for a

Actually - I think it does work. Go for the system config spanner tool. Have your CD, whatever selected as your installation source. Software install choices - check the box that gives you the RPM installer. I (think) it was left unchecked in the default install.

i had this problem today

since the Packman mirrors are actually for 10.1 not 10.185738956875487 (aka 10.2 beta)

i needed to force libxine1 and libmagick to install even if you cannot find proper dependancies

obviosuly this solution may break sometthing

but my amarok and kaffeine works
