Hi,
I have a professional sound card from
http://lynxstudio.com called the LynxOne. They don't supply linux drivers and referred me to
http://www.opensound.com/download.cgi to get a driver from. I don't see Suse listed in the options on their download page but there are many options to choose from with one being Linux 2.6 (AMD64).
As this will be my first download for Linux other than getting the 10.0 64 bit Suse DVD from Novell's site, I have no idea what to look for yet.
I have a dual core Opteron, DFI nF4 Lanparty board. I need to use the Lynx card as I am using a digital I/O and need this feature as I am a musician and use this to master my CDs from an ADAT. In addition, the card is a professional grade sound card and I need this quality in the sound card. As a result I can't use the onboard sound card which is surely OK for most people's sound requirements.
It would be nice to find another source of drivers for the LynxOne card for although this driver will surely work, it is an expensive driver and though it is free for 4 month periods, it has to be continually downloaded at the end of that period & re-installed to remain functional.
So any idea which of the above drivers from that site's search engine I should download if I use Suse 10?
Thank you
