i backed out of a Kubuntu install today and when i rebooted i have no keyboard or mouse access at the kde 3.5 login box. i can use the key/mouse anytime up to the kde log in, then nothing. i can hit Alt+F1 and log on as root at the console and browse my whole system. i got into Yast and tried to reset/save my keyboard/mouse as english/us, ps2 intellimouse. reboot, nothing at the log in. i am looking through my xorg.conf file but i don't what i am looking for or what to change. i see a lot posts for this sort of thing but they all seem to be related to hardware, of which i've changed none. i have been running suse 10 with kde 3.5 smoothly for the last few weeks and now suddenly i am stuck! heeeeelllpppppp!

**also, i should mention that this is dual-boot XP Pro box and all is fine on the WinTel side, as well as in the console on the suse 10 side. just something is screwy as the kde shell login.
