After my Athlon melted off my MOBO, I have another PC; not
quite as good, but it will do.
I installed SuSE 9.3 today because I used it before and loved it.
I also updated the Kernel after installing.
Problem: I downloaded Thunderbird 2.0 but can't install it with YAST2.
I tried running the shell script from the downloaded files, but that didn't work.
All I need at this time is an email client that supports multiple Identities. Kontact is there, but I really like Thunderbird.
I have 3 email accounts all using sifferent server settings.
I run the KDE desktop. If there is any way to configure Kontact
for 3 accounts with different settings, please let me know and
the Thunderbird issue will be a mute point.
Just to be sure: I download the file into a directory,
and type "./thunderbird" in that directory?
or do I use Ark to unpack it and type "./thunderbird" from there.
I did the latter on the first try. If I open with Ark, the files ending with ".sh" will not respond when I type "./xxxx"
