How to install SMART package manager?

I understand that the SMART PM is on the 10.1 discs. If YAST is not working for me, how would I install this and its GUI?

and download and install these -
Code:
smart-0.41-22.guru.suse101.i686.rpm
smart-gui-0.41-22.guru.suse101.i686.rpm
smart-ksmarttray-0.41-22.guru.suse101.i686.rpm
