How to disable snmp service on T3.

I have a T3 storage. my manager asked me to disable the SNMP service on T3. But I just know
how to disable the snmp service under solaris Environment. I wonder whether there is a way to disable snmp service on T3.

Best Regards.

What is the reason one would want to disable the SNMP service on a T3 ?

Because SNMP will send the SNMP trap message via the local network. The one who wants to disable it worries about the security problem, then need to disable it.

I think you can disable these traps by removing the "snmp_trap" directives from the array syslog.conf.
