I'm a newbie and I've had the folowing problem with my Slackware 9.1 rootdisk..
I've copied the Color.gz image to a floopy using rawwrite but when I go to boot the rootdisk I don't get any farther than the "Compressed image found at block 0" message.
If anyone could help me resolve the problem I'd greatly appreciate it.
I think color.gz is a corrupt file since about Slackware 7.0. If you're trying to install you need to use the install disks. If you want a utilities disk use the rescue disk. I used to use color.gz to install slack 3.3 but it doesn't work on the latest versions.
