Unhappy Where is ghostscript

Dear all.

I'm on Slack 9.0, trying to use imagemagick to make a label.
However, it could not find ghostscript.

I've been trying to find it on the CD,
also on www.slackware.com and www.linuxpackages.net without luck.

I wonder why Slack does not provide it ?
Some packages such as Imagemagick, gv, cups, depends on it.

What kind of install did you do?

I've always done full installs.

At home (Slack 9.1 mind you), running:

gs -v

yields:

ESP Ghostscript 7.05.6 (2003-02-05)
Copyright (C) 2002 artofcode LLC, Benicia, CA. All rights reserved.

Do you get the same results?

I also did a full install of Slack9.1 at work (where I actually have a printer). And I got CUPS working.

Ugh ... maybe that was my mistake.
I was searching for ghostscript, not gs
I'll try again.
