Typo3 CMS requirements

Hi!

I'm about to install Typo3 CMS typo3.com typo3.com (One of the absolute best CMS!!)

I've tried it on windows but will host it on Slackware 9.1

It recommends me to have this installed:

GDlib/Freetype (compiled with PHP)
zlib (compiled with PHP)
Apache_with mod_gzip/mod_rewrite
A_PHP-cache (eg. PHP-accelerator / Zend Accelerator, UNIX only)

Is this already installed on a full install in Slackware Linux or do I have to do certain things to have it going!

Can someone help me out a bit? Is there anyone out there who have got Typo3 up working well with Slackware?

Thanks!

PS! Slackware Forum is the best forum I've ever been into! Thank all you out there for all the help I've got through this forum!!!

I tried Typo3 for a while with mdk 10.0.

After all, is a good choice ONLY for GOOD php programmers. If you are not a real GURU, go back in your steps.....

I'm not a GURU. I.m an average PHP programmer and i prefer Mambo 4.5. it is clear, light, easy to manage and tweak.

Try it!
