If I remember right from the times I used KDE3, it's just a OS/X like theme for window decorations, named Baghira. The first 3 starting from right are just the usual window buttons of KWin: minimize, maximize/restore and close.
The blue buttons I do not know. Probably some new features added by the Trinity developers. Maybe they play with CSD and one of them is a menu button?
Reason I ask is I've found that X itsself supports the ability to raise/lower windows in the stack like the old Amiga Workbench 1.3 but it seems most desktops don't pass that through to buttons. XFCS can lower by middle clicking on the title bar but I'm looking for one that can have the buttons.

Well, honestly I have no clue, as I do not use the Trinity.
BUT, as reference of what meaning can have the usual KWin buttons, I attached a screenshot made on -current's Plasma5.
I am not sure about the menu buttons, but regarding others, I am almost sure that they was present even on KDE3's KWin, hence the may have been inherited by Trinity.

post KDE 3 world, caused me to loose all confidence in desktop environments. The idea of TDE is appealing to me in some way, but I've adapted myself to a windows manager world -- I simple prefer to control everything from the ttyl .

Recently I finally salvaged and scrapped an old TDE install on 14.0 32bit but with all the TDE interest I thought I'd have some fun. I actually intend to use the old KPackage app from KDE 3.5 but even though I still have a few old boxen more appropriate to ancient Slackware, I thought I'd see if I could get 12.2 installed on a new box.
This is 12.2 with a 4.4.14 kernel (slip-streamed into the iso) installed on a Z490-i5-10600K system. It's nearly useless since newer kernels so far won't load the USB keyboard and the 4.4.14 that does won't load eth0 or wlan0 but as an air-gap it runs fine... actually really fast!
NOTE: I just found out Slackware 32bit will run on a 64bit kernel so it looks like playtime has been extended
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.
