I just installed slackware 10.1 beside debian sarge...............it works perfect...........however.............slackware freezes every once in a while for few seconds, and then resumes normal operation.
does anyone have the same problem or knows why this happens?
i kept my eye on ram usage using [top]........i have plenty of free ram
i noticed that it freezes when i highlight a text with mouse, but does not freeze when i highlight a text using [shift]+[arrow]
also, mouse does not freeze when i scroll down or up in konqueror
I used to have that error on KDE, I just ran the configuration wizard again and selected "slow processor" to have less graphical effects...works fine now....
