Mouse stops working in X
Anybody seen this issue:
after running in Slack 9 for awhile, the mouse ceases to move. The cursor is present at a static point on the screen, and the only way you can get around is by keyboard command. I've changed the runlevel from 5 to 3 and back to fix the problem, but that solution doesnt last long; I usuall have to reboot and the problem doesnt pop up for 24 hours of so. any one else ever note this?
I have had the same problem happen. My mouse was set to "Auto", I think that somewhere in the detection it hangs. When I set it to "IMPS/2" to bypass the detection, it worked fine.
