Perhaps this is Slackware S.O.P. these days, but I have been using Slackware for over 20 years and have NEVER used slackpkg, whatever it is. Installpkg, updatepkg, removepkg is good enough for me.

That is too much trouble for keeping up with current. Sometimes there are 20 or 30 updates at a time.
