KDE4 'move to trash' doesn't
Hi all,
The title really says it all. When using the 'move to trash' option from the mouse right click menu on either files or directories, while the pop-up notifier would suggest that the action is about to take place, it doesn't.
Eventually, (generally after several minutes/hours - delete as appropriate), the pop-up notifier states action complete, but the object in question stays where it originally is, whilst the trash can doesn't inherit it.
Anyone come across this, or should I be filing a bug with the KDE devs?
I'm using kde-4.2.2 with an install, not upgrade, from /current and just did this with a 5 mb file. No problem other than I had to figure out wher it went to since I don't have a trash icon on my desktop
Best option is to delete .kde folder and /Desktop folder and mkdir Desktop and start again
If that's for me, my .kde is fine as I started with a new one in kde4 and I don't use ~/Desktop. I just create .desktop files and drag them directly onto the desktop.
