Oopsie! Moved trash folder, a little problem for a kde4 newbie
For those of you who have a great deal more experience than I, this should be an easy one: I have been until recently running SuSE Linux Professional 9.2. Last week I upgraded to OpenSuSE 11.1. The install/setup went flawlessly on this old machine, but there has been a bit of a learning curve with the changes involved in migrating from KDE 3.2 to KDE 4.1.
While trying to make my desktop conform to my old desktop in KDE 3.2, I made a newbie mistake...I moved the trash file from the KDE kicker to the desktop. Rather than give me the option of creating a link, it moved the whole file. I later discovered that I could have RIGHT clicked on the Icon and had it do what I needed.
I haven't touched anything else, but I need to put that file back to where it belongs. Does anybody have any idea of how I can restore the file to where it goes without further damaging my user account?
Thank all of you for your input.
