CDROM/DVD-ROM mounting correctly

My Slackware 10.2 has a problem mounting a DVD if I set the filesystem type to auto in the fstab, I used to be able to do this before, but not now. does anyone know how you fix this? thanks

Instead of auto, make the setting iso9660. If you use cdrw/dvdrw as read/write devices(big floppies made with Nero or EZCD) make the setting iso9660,udf.
