2.6.0-test9 ALSA issues

Hi all!
Got the mouse working in the test kernel after hours of trying different setups =)
Now for my next problem...

I have an nForce2 mobo with an integrated soundcard, it works like a charm in my old 2.4.22 kernel with OSS modules. But I use ALSA in the test-kernel.
According to dmesg my soundcard is found and initialized properly but then ALSA tries to load some modules (pcm_oss_mixer & pcm_oss_[something]). The kernel doesn't find these modules and the sound doesn't work. And I can't for the life of me figure out why ALSA tries to load those modules, even enabled OSS as modules but didn't find the modules ALSA was asking for.
I'm sort of scratching my head bloody here =)
So, any ideas?

Could it be that you left out the OSS API emulation from your kernel build? If you did build them in (as modules) and still get rc.alsa (or sumthin') screaming to you about the absence of those, then I dunno..
