piranha not working

Hi,

I have installed piranha on centos5.5 64 bit. I have disabled iptables. Now i see nanny is crashing or busy waiting on something. I did a strace -p <pid> and found this. And found that nanny is consuming cpu 100% on us. Here is the nanny process i found in my system.

root 9778 9770 49 Nov01 ? 08:12:27 /usr/sbin/nanny -c -h 192.168.1.121 -p 8080 -r 8080 -s GET\ \/\ HTTP\/1.0\\r\\n\\r\\n -x HTTP\/1.1\ 200\ OK --regex -a 15 -I /sbin/ipvsadm -t 6 -w 1 -V 192.168.1.119 -M g -U none --lvs

nanny couldn't stop even though I executed "service pulse stop". So, I got strace on pulse and lvs. pulse executed SIGTERM to LVS . And LVS exected SIGTERM to nanny. But nanny couldn't answer to LVS . So, I understood nanny is the undead process now. I think nanny is in the never-ending loop when starting the Pulse. I'm searching the reason why.
here is my lvs.cf file
serial_no = 42
primary = 192.168.1.118
service = lvs
backup_active = 1
backup = 192.168.1.117
heartbeat = 1
heartbeat_port = 539
keepalive = 6
deadtime = 5
network = direct
debug_level = NONE
monitor_links = 0
syncdaemon = 1
virtual MM {
active = 1
address = 192.168.1.119 eth0:1
vip_nmask = 255.255.255.0
port = 8080
send = "GET\ \/\ HTTP\/1.0\\r\\n\\r\\n"
expect = "HTTP\/1.1\ 200\ OK"
use_regex = 1
load_monitor = none
scheduler = wlc
protocol = tcp
timeout = 6
reentry = 15
quiesce_server = 0
server MM1 {
address = 192.168.1.121
active = 1
weight = 1
}
server MM2 {
address = 192.168.1.126
active = 1
weight = 1
}
}

As you can see from the above configuration page we are running two lvs on 118 and 117. 126 & 121 are ip alias to 117 and 118 repsectviely. We are running jboss application on 126 and 121. So we have only two machine to run our jboss application and cluering with load balancer piranha. the ip address of the two are as follows:

#ip addr
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
inet6 ::1/128 scope host
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000
link/ether 00:0c:29:9c:d0:e6 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.1.118/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global eth0
inet 192.168.1.121/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global secondary eth0:2
inet 192.168.1.119/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global secondary eth0:1
inet6 fe80::20c:29ff:fe9c:d0e6/64 scope link
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
3: sit0: <NOARP> mtu 1480 qdisc noop
link/sit 0.0.0.0 brd 0.0.0.0
similarly on the other machine:
#ip addr
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
inet6 ::1/128 scope host
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000
link/ether 00:0c:29:3a:a3:ae brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.1.117/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global eth0
inet 192.168.1.126/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global secondary eth0:2
inet 192.168.1.119/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global secondary eth0:1
inet6 fe80::20c:29ff:fe3a:a3ae/64 scope link
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
3: sit0: <NOARP> mtu 1480 qdisc noop
link/sit 0.0.0.0 brd 0.0.0.0

can someone help me?

with regards,
ashwin
