Getting Nvidia drivers working for Severn

FWIW:
For the Fedora 0.94 release, the newest Nvidia driver ".run" script wouldn't install without GCC mismatches. Even going to Nvidia's archive and downloading older tarballs....same thing. Fedora's kernel is compiled with GCC 3.2x, but 3.31 is the compiler version that comes with Fedora. Here's what I did for the easy way to get it working:
dropped out of X and typed:

"export IGNORE_CC_MISMATCH=true" <enter> (leave out quotes, of course)

then ran the Nvidia *.run script (successfully), edited XF86config per instructions, and it works fine. 3d gaming so far works as usual. If ya'll managed another way, let me know.
