Post correct config of Hosts file

hi
i have a RH-9 connected to a Netgear router.
The router acts as a DHCP and assings ip dynamically to the machines.

Now when i log in i get the following MSG:

My desired hostname is developer

Could not lookup internet address for developer.
This may prevent GNOME from opperating correctly.
It may be possible to correct the problem by adding developer to the file /etc/hosts

/etc/hosts file reads
==========================================
127.0.0.1 developer localhost
==========================================

/etc/hostname file reads
==========================================
developer
==========================================

/etc/sysconfig/network file reads
==========================================
NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=developer
==========================================

What to do Please Help
