CD-Rom dead, trying to install RedHat via network on a Xircom PCMCIA
Hello...
I have a dell latitude 7000. When I first installed Red Hat 9 from cd1 the CD-Rom drive locked up at around 60%. Now it cannot read any CD att all so Im trying to install from FTP with the bootdisk.img floppy. Now there is no working drivers on the driver disk. I have a Xircom Cardbus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56. Also, I have a DE-660. There is no drivers on the drvnet.img floppy and I can only find "normal" drivers and how do I load them as a "driver disk". Maybe there is a driver disk containing drivers for one of the cards... or is there another way? I dunno...
