Python transparency in window

I was just wondering is there a way to make a transparent container in python. I want to make an app that uses images as its gui. So no title bar or closing min max buttons i wanna create all those myself. Also any info on making buttons from images(although i think i can probably figure that out)

--edit Oh can anyone tell me how to set up python scripts to run when they are double clicked instead of having to use the command line

Check out gdesklets for examples of how to do the GUI stuff.

And re: double-click, it depends on what you are double-clicking it in. It's a specific configuration for that app.
