Hi all,
i googled and searched that to disable the telnet we need to edit the file /etc/xinetd.d/telnet and make disable = no to disable = yes and then restart the xinetd service... but we have mounted the kernel image to power pc board (pq2fads) and here in that file that line itself was not there... but i added that line disable = yes and restarted the xinetd service.. but insted telnet is working fine.. can anyone tell me how to disable the telnet in some other way....
thanks..
thanks for reply mssanchu,
i have already done that by iptables...like iptables -A OUTPUT -s (board IP) -p tcp --dport 23 -j DROP
but u know any other method or the reason why this is not working...
