Best Noob C++ sotware


Hi, I'm realy interested to know what c++ envirement software should i use on linux i'm used to dev-pascal and now i'm learning C++. I'm using mandriva 2007.1, Gnome Desktop

Well , I'd recommend gcc/g++ with make and a text editor like for example gedit , emacs !

kdevelop is nice, so is eclipse and netbeans.

g++/gcc + good text editor = all you need. ;]

GNU/Linux is pretty developer friendly.

Another vote for KDevelop. I like the way its all integrated together, and its simple - Makefiles confuse the hell out of me so I like the graphical IDE's that hide the makefiles in the background.
