The only thing I can think of, is installing an ssh server on the windoze machine and then using ssh client from the linux machine, never done it but i'm sure it possible.

If this version of windows has terminal services (remote desktop) then you can use a program called rdesktop; I have included a link.

i have rdesktop 1.3.1 which i believe is the most recent version. i try to connect to my xp pro client machine with rdp:/xpclient
and am told the version of desktop you are using is too old. rdesktop 1.3.2 or later is required. it mentions CVS and sources and stuff as a possibility. i assume others here are connecting to their XP machines fine, so i'm wondering whats up with that. im running fedora core 3. thanks!
