RPM install

could someone help with how to execute this program so that I can download the .bittorrent file that is on my desktop?
I clicked on this RPM file in my folder then entered my password then it said it was going to install it. OK no errors
Where do I go to make it grab the file on my desktop? I tried clicking the file on my disktop which is as follows
file:/home/larry/Desktop/lchisholm-Mandriva-Linux-2006-0.2-DVD.i586.torrent

but nothing happens. I am running 2005LE and trying help out with others using or needing a connection for downloading.

file:/home/larry/BitTorrent-4.0.4-1.noarch.rpm

Thank You
Larry

open up a console and just run "btdownloadcurses.py /home/larry/Desktop/lchisholm-Mandriva-Linux-2006-0.2-DVD.i586.torrent". should kick off instantly.

What I recommend you is to use Azureus to open the torrent files. It works great, and it is easy to use.
