quick favour! post up your lilo.conf

hey people, can someone post up a default (read unmodified) copy of mandrake 9.2's lilo.conf...

I installed Mandy, then installed Knoppix (onto a different partition) thinking Knoppix's bootloader would be clever enough to find mandrake (hell it can find XP Pro) but no, so now I can't boot into mandrake (I don't have the mandrake CD's so I can't recover the bootloader that way) I'll have to add the lines needed to boot Mandrake into Knoppix's lilo.conf

thanks!

Simply add this replacing root with whatever partition you have installed Mandrake , run lilo , and reboot.

image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="mdk92"
root=/dev/hda3
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="devfs=mount hdc=ide-scsi acpi=ht splash=silent"
vga=788
read-only

lilo said there wasn't a valid boot image in the first sector of where mandrake is located. great.

You'll need to make a directory for Mdk in Knoppix (eg /mnt/mdk) and then mount that partition in Knoppix. Change /etc/fstab so that Mdk will be mounted automatically at boot.
Then you can doctor the /etc/lilo.conf to recognize the Mdk partition.

Remember, vmlinuz will be in /mnt/mdk/boot, or whatever you called the Mdk partition
