Hi,all. i am using mandrake linux.i am new to linux.i create a new cdrom shortcut in desktop.when i open that,i had a error""[mntent]: line 5 in /etc/fstab is bad
mount: can't find /dev/hdb /mnt/cdrom in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab""what should i do can any one help me please.......
a fast way to put cdrom device icon on your desktop is:
--right click on empty space on desktop
--choose "configure desktop"
--choose "device icons tab"
--put an "x" in "mount" and "unmount" of the cdrom or cdwriter or dvdrom whatever you want
------all your mountable devices are listed there
