It is impossible to open the zip files from floppy disk or cd rom
Hi,
the Nautilus application is invasive and appears with the following info:
"It is impossible to show the position; Nautilus has not any viewer installed able to show "/mnt/floppy/filename.zip".
I have tried in vain to configure the right program like "x-zip" from the Gnome Control Center by selecting "File Types and Programs":
I read there:
Description: Zip Archive; MIME Type: Application/zip; Extension: .zip; Default Action: none ( even If "Open With Application" is automatically enabled in the Default Action section ).
Should I click the "Edit List" and "Add Application" button? ( what should I type in there?
"Application Name"?
"Application Command"?
Thanks, Julian
I don't have Nautilus now to check, but I think that AddApplication will be OK, Application Name - "x-zip", Application Command - "x-zip" (or any other zip program you have).
