Mising MCC

I want to configure my computer but unfortunately i don't have Mandriva Control Center. I don't know what wrong with it. I think i might didn't install MCC. How can i isntall MCC through terminal.

Now, i using Mandriva Linux PowerPack 2007. Before that, i using Mandriva Free version. Its work fine and smooth.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

drakconf and drakconf-icons are the packages you need. Not sure what other dependencies you may need. Can find on install disk in directory .../media/main

Once you mount the disk and change to the directory, can install using following command:

# rpm -ivh drakconf*.rpm

Since I know you are using Mandriva, it will be better to use:

urpmi drakconf

urpmi will resolve any package dependencies.

In most cases, you can use urpmi any where you see rpm -ivh, or for that matter rpm with any switch (-ivh is a set of three switches).
