mcc backup

Has anyone had any luck using the backup utility in mcc? I can make a backup and save to hdc or hda but when I configure it to use a cd it appears to go through the motions but does not burn to disk. What other than dump is a good useable backup utility? Preferably to cd.

did you make sure you have the mkisofs and cdrecord utilities.

I use veritas backup exec, but I don't think you want that... (or at least don't want to pay for it)

I checked and mkisofs and cdrecord are both installed, decided to do all the updates as I did not do that on this install but then it did not work last time either.

It works fine for me, though I tend to install ALL of the CD & DVD recording utilities available via URPMI/RPMDRAKE.
