Installing 10.0 from CD => No cdrom device found

Hi
I'm new to Linux. I've downloaded the three ISOs of Mandrake 10.1 and I burnd them. I put the first CD in my cd/dvd drive and I boot from the CD. Linux says I must press F1 or Enter, so I press enter.
Now there comes a message 'No cdrom device found' and it asks for an additional drivers floppy. I have a IDE cdrom. Windows calls it 'LITE-ON DVD SOHD-167T'

What must I do?

I suspect you have a LG cdrom. Seach Mandrakes site about that known issue and the fix.

I read the solution on another forum. I changed a bios setting and then it worked.

I don't know how or why it works:

Integrated Peripherals > OnChip IDE Device > On-Chip Serial ATA
I changed it from 'Auto' into 'Enhanched Mode'

Also, if you download and use Mandrakelinux 10.1 (Official), IIRC that isue is resolved.
