I installed Mandrake 9.2 on a laptop (Clevo D500) and when I booted up the "Fn" key is locked. I can't even log in because my passwords for all accounts I put in have a capital letter with an Fn key (by depressing the Fn key I still get the original key return, rather than the calculator key, but I can't use shift with the Fn key).

Example: Instead of getting "o" I get "6"

Sorry about that, I originally just posted on the software forum, because I thought it was a Gnome problem, but when I did more testing and found out it was happening on the command line and other parts of Mandrake, but not on any of the Live cds I tried, I posted it up here. Then I posted it in the laptop forum since it's a problem that would probably only show up on a laptop.

Plus, doesn't posting it everywhere affected make sense? I mean what if someone who knew the answer never looked at the Mandrake forum because they don't use Mandrake?
