Num lock key went off automatically


Hi my friends
there's a problem facing me , and i can't solve it
i use Fedora Core-1 with Gnome interface Kernel 2.4
when i logon to X interface and working
the num lock key goes off automatically after some time
and all the keys in the num lock part can't be working
i try to make it work on the logon by default
so it make the same problem
it haven't any rules to do that
i don't know why and how to solve it

yes my friend
i already do that and make it work on automatically on startup
but after some minutes or houres it goes off , and i can't make it on again
