dependancy problem in lxde 2010 free

OK, so I am having a dependancy problem in Mandriva Free 2010 lxde...

I go into an XTERM and log in as su; then, I type urpmi task-kde4 to try to load a different environment for my desktop, but after the first two choices for what I am installing is over, no matter what the choice, I keep getting the same error problem:

<quote>

$MIRRORLIST: media/main/updates/gnome-python-extras-2.25.3-10.3mdv2010.0.i586.rpm
aria2 failed: exited with 1

Failed to download gnome-python-extras-2.25.3-10.3mdv2010.0.i586.rpm
Retry? (y/N)

</quote>

I have tried to change which options I could when retrying the download, but it just won't take hold no matter what choices I make...

Any ideas on what the story is here? I have the 2010 cd in the rom, figuring that the media/main was looking for the information contained on the cd, but it hasn't helped with anything yet...

I have also tried to get into where I would configure the media repositories, but think I am having a problem doing it because I am using the Openbox environment right now...

I have tried to get into the openbox-kde and openbox-gnome environments, but I always get the same error message, one that says something to the affect that my session lasted less than 10 seconds (which is to say that as soon as I try to log in I get that error, I click ok and it kicks me back to the login screen)...

Also, short of a format and reinstall, is there a way to "upgrade" from free to one?

I only ask because I cannot access my flash drives when I plug them in, or my portable hard drives...they show up in the list (on occassion), but access is always denied, even when logging in as root...

Although I love Mandriva, I am really frustrated with this release...it does not seem any where close to being as good as the Mandriva One 2009 KDE4 that I ran on my laptop...

Any help to try to straighten out this mess would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks again to any and all who answer...

Hey again...

I had finally been able to log into the LXDE desktop, and checked my repository list...the main media was not enabled, so that is why I was getting that message...figured that was part of the problem...also, I enabled more repositories, and was finally able to start installing the KDE environment....

Thanks anyways for reading this post....
