Linux System Administrators for Madrid and Barcelona, Spain, Europe
The company I work for has asked me to post on LQ on their behalf. They are currently looking for the following profile in Spain, more in particular the Madrid and Barcelona area:
Linux System Administrator
Required knowledge:
Being able to perform a complete installation and configuration of Linux, mainly RedHat Enterprise Linux, but also, Debian, FreeNAS, VMWare, OpenVZ.
Basic knowledge of Bash is a requisite
Knowledge of Python is a definite plus
Understand and be able to troubleshoot DNS, High Availability, RHEL Cluster, MySQL replication and MySQL Cluster, NFS, Apache.
Knowledge of streaming media is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, firewalls (iptables), Linux routing.
Experience in a support environment (3rd level) is a plus.
Stress resistent
Fast thinker
Teamplayer.
Fluency in Spanish is a requisite for this job offer in Spain. Any other additional language is considered an asset.
